During February we have been busy with the major updates to the Bistroo Merchant Dashboard and the Native App. On top of that we have also been doing a lot of preparation for the token sale.
In February we have taken the time to evaluate what we have achieved over the last 12 months, after the platform launch on 3rd March 2020. Areas of organisational growth are sales, development and marketing in order to scale the network to a new level. The first new hire of the year starts in March.
We hit the ground running in 2021. It is still our core goal to give customers a transparant, easy to use method to directly purchase food and beverages from restaurants and producers of speciality goods. In conjuction with this it is our goal to give the entrepreneurs the tools to manage their business online as easily and effectively as possible. That’s why we’re starting the first major update of the year with changes that give more flexibility, control and ease of use to the platform members.
New Year, new plans! After taking some time to reflect on a crazy first year for Bistroo, we started off 2021 with a bang. The start of the year has been about laying foundations to grow Bistroo; preparations have been ongoing for both the private token sale as well as the public token sale and staff growth.

In the past years the increasing dependence on intermediary platforms in the online food industry has led to a skewed power balance. Changing policies, full control over user data and claiming the consumer as their client rather than the merchant’s. Local food ecosystems are disconnected. In this launch blog we will be outlining everything you need to know about how Bistroo will give power back to the merchants and consumers at the core of the value chain.
