We are on our way to become the new food ordering platform. Not another UberEats, but a platform that cares about restaurant owners and food entrepreneurs.
So, I hear you think: ‘How can Bistroo compete against all the big names like UberEats, Deliveroo and JustEat?’
We’re gearing up for our listing on Uniswap! With preparations for liquidity staking and Token Sale claiming, we’re well on our way. Next to that our Ambassador Program V1.0 launched and we started on CORE V4; a complete redesign of our backend framework, consumer app and merchant dashboard.
March has been about the BIST Token Presale. On March 3rd this started, together with our communication partners SlimBeleggen & BeursBrink. We have also finally released the designs of our new UI. Next to that, we’re making more team expansions.
On March 3rd, 1 year after the platform launched, we started our Presale. By the end of March we raised close to 60% of the total cap. Raising around 2400 ETH in the first 4 weeks. This constitutes 4,3 mln USD.
We already teased some of the new UI designs with you over the past few days, but of course we couldn’t hold back. Therefore, in this blog we’re sharing all the designs with you!
During February we have been busy with the major updates to the Bistroo Merchant Dashboard and the Native App. On top of that we have also been doing a lot of preparation for the token sale.
In February we have taken the time to evaluate what we have achieved over the last 12 months, after the platform launch on 3rd March 2020. Areas of organisational growth are sales, development and marketing in order to scale the network to a new level. The first new hire of the year starts in March.
We hit the ground running in 2021. It is still our core goal to give customers a transparant, easy to use method to directly purchase food and beverages from restaurants and producers of speciality goods. In conjuction with this it is our goal to give the entrepreneurs the tools to manage their business online as easily and effectively as possible. That’s why we’re starting the first major update of the year with changes that give more flexibility, control and ease of use to the platform members.
New Year, new plans! After taking some time to reflect on a crazy first year for Bistroo, we started off 2021 with a bang. Our private sale has just closed and we’re planning the upcoming public token sale for the BIST token. Next to that we had an office move to accomodate our constantly growing team.
The start of the year has been about laying foundations to grow Bistroo; preparations have been ongoing for both the private token sale as well as the public token sale and staff growth.

In the past years the increasing dependence on intermediary platforms in the online food industry has led to a skewed power balance. Changing policies, full control over user data and claiming the consumer as their client rather than the merchant’s. Local food ecosystems are disconnected. In this launch blog we will be outlining everything you need to know about how Bistroo will give power back to the merchants and consumers at the core of the value chain.
