Bistroo Development Release Notes
Several releases have gone live. These releases pertain to the Consumer (web) app, Merchant Portal, and PoS device. In this change log, you will find an overview of all the changes per release.
The Handheld (PoS Device)
For this release, we listened to the merchant’s feedback. The handheld has undergone a significant rework. The following desired features have been implemented:
- Receipt print settings: the number of receipts per order can now be chosen.
- The print manager has been optimized.
- A product can now be set to inactive from the menu view.
A minimalist version of the mobile rework is available. Now, there is a mobile navigation section located at the bottom with the following options:
- Order live view
- Edit products
- Edit attributes
- Modify menus
- Adjust distribution settings
Multi-establishment setup has been added. Multiple establishments can now operate and print on one handheld:
- Order view and print
- Revenue print
- Shop closing function
The Merchant Portal
- Age verification is now available per product. Previously, it applied to the entire store.
- The drag & drop zones in the menu builder now work better.
- Translations are now more accurate.
- A new surcharge: transaction fees.
- Creating refunds now requires a password.
- An auto-updater has been added, meaning updates will be automatically downloaded and installed in the background.
- The ‘Back to shop’ button has returned.
The App for Your Customers
- Customers now see the age check only when they try to add a product to their cart that requires age verification.
- House number additions now work better.
