Status Update: BIST Support for PancakeSwap & Binance Smart Chain
Due to the complexity and increased costs of maintaining support for pBIST on the BinanceSmartChain, the increased cost of using the current bridge solution between Ethereum and BSC, we have decided to gradually reduce support given for pBIST on BSC.
Our single asset staking and liquidity staking programs have concluded, so we urge you to claim your rewards and bridge any pBIST you currently hold back the Ethereum based BIST through our portal at portal.bistroo.io.
This also means that we will eventually pull the liquidity provided on PancakeSwap out. Bistroo will focus our liquidity and development efforts on an Ethereum Ecosystem-based L2 solution going forward.
The future: Ethereum Layer-2
In the near future, we will announce which Ethereum Ecosystem Layer 2 solution we will be supporting with a L2 wrapped BIST token and decentralized AMM exchange liquidity.
Optimistic Rollups are a solution that meet Bistroo’s requirements for development, (transaction) cost efficiency and scalability, so expect an OP-based L2 solution for BIST. See you soon on ETH L2!
