General & Sales

This month brings some key launches that are integral to the next steps in our growth plan; the launch of our partnership with peaq network, a layer 1, DePIN focused blockchain.

Next to that, we continue to improve on our key metrics when it comes to user and merchant growth:

  • 6654 first-time users placed an order in August. That is a 212% increase in first-time customers year-on-year compared to August 2023.
  • 2463 new user accounts were created in August. A year-on-year increase of 360% in new user accounts signed up.

Marketing

Our focus has been on restructuring to be as efficient as possible with our B2B pivot approach. Next to that, we increased efforts across the board when it comes to strategic and co-marketing campaigns within the crypto space.

  • Further improvement activities on both Page and Shop SERP rankings.
  • Announced a co-marketing partnership with OpenMesh.
  • Announced a strategic partnership with Farmsent. Bistroo and Farmsent are aiming to vertically integrate to provide restaurants and their consumers with resources sourced directly from the farmers.
  • Started our first Quests on Galxe, with more to follow shortly.
  • Launched another B2B newsletter marketing campaign with our Dutch partner to directly target restaurants.
  • We’ve streamlined our email marketing campaigns, improved on current campaigns while also downsizing on some of the more customer focused campaigns that did not fit with our B2B approach anymore.

Development

  • A PoS device rework that includes updates to the order live view, products, attributes and menu edits and distribution settings.
  • The PoS device now supports a multi establishment and printer setup for restaurants.
  • Introduction for variable timeslots selection to give merchants greater customization options. They can now choose from 5, 10 and 15 minutes in checkout instead of only 15 minute timeslots.
  • Refunds are now gated with a password.
  • Implemented print manager optimizations.
  • Product inactive/active options added.
  • Age restrictions on product level instead of the entire shop.
  • Drag & drop rework for menu builder to improve ease of use.
  • Introduction of new surcharge option: transaction fee for merchants.
  • Auto updater implementation for merchant portal.
  • Implemented hotfixes for consumer app checkout flow.
  • Sentry error optimalisations for consumer app
