The Bistroo Breakdown: Monthly Progress Report — May 2024
Every month, we publish an update to our token holders and broader community. Welcome to the May 2024 edition. This month, we relaunched our new bistroo.nl homepage, concluded most of the localisation for the bistroo.com pilot in Belgium and reached 85,000 active users.
General & Sales
- We’ve reached the milestones of 85,000 active users in our home market of the Netherlands.
- Localisation for the Pilot Program of Bistroo.com in Belgium is nearly finished.
- In May, the order volume has grown 158% year-on-year, and we saw the highest number of monthly orders to date.
- 5516 first-time users placed an order in May. That is a 201% increase in first-time customers year-on-year compared to May 2023.
- 2042 new user accounts were created in May. A year-on-year increase of 303% in new user accounts signed up on a monthly basis.
- 31 new merchants were onboarded in May, that’s a year-on-year growth of 55%. The Sales team also scheduled 126 new business appointments (143% growth year-on-year) and closed 31 deals (48% growth year-on-year).
Marketing
- We created additional methods to capture merchants leads on the landing pages that we’re A/B testing.
- The Direct Mail discount experiment, in which a selection of merchants in a target region for sales receive mail packages, has been launched.
- In May, we achieved the highest amount of SEO traffic ever.
- Redesigned bistroo.io to better reflect our current strategy and display key figures that we feel will resonate better with our audience. This redesign will be live soon.
- Revamped the bistroo.nl homepage to better fit with our current target audience.
- Increased PR exposure has been initiated, with upcoming podcast/Spaces appearances to discuss the future ambitions of Bistroo but also sector specific topics.
Development
- Launched the new bistroo.nl website that aligns better with our revised B2B approach.
- Completed the Merchant Page V2 migration.
- Invoice per payout for merchants is now live.
- Developed the first iteration of the mobile merchant portal.
- Nearly finalized the localisation infrastructure frontend implementation. This is a prerequisite for the bistroo.com and bistroo.com Belgium pilot.
- New PoS device implementation is now live.
- Made a spec for the Discount System V2 and Onboarding Wizard V2.
- Started the restructuring for the PoS device application.
- The attribute model rework is now live.
