The Bistroo Breakdown: Monthly Progress Report — February 2024

Every month, we publish a monthly update to our token holders and broader community. Welcome to the February 2024 edition. We’ve done a lot and have even more coming up, so keep a close eye. We ran a number of marketing experiments. The sales team were on a roll. Our devs produced some great updates and upgrades to our app and infrastructure. We look back on a productive month and have much more in store!

General & Sales

  • We’ve partnered with two POS systems for online order integrations for restaurants.
  • The 2024 roadmap and look-ahead blog were posted
  • Preparations for the beta launch, and full-launch for’s borderless and autonomous Merchant support is underway! Breaking Borders!
  • Customer & Merchant support was optimized for better quality and cost-efficiency
  • In February, the order volume has grown 82% year-on-year.
  • 3059 first-time users placed an order in February 2024. That is a 77% increase in first-time customers year-on-year compared to February 2023.
  • 1295 new user accounts were created in February 2024. A year-on-year increase of 179% in new user accounts signed up on a monthly basis.
  • 32 Merchant were onboarded in February, 60% MoM increase
  • 163 New business appointments were scheduled, a 112% MoM increase
  • 44 deals were closed, a 120% increase compared to January MoM


  • We designed and implemented a SEA landing page experiment
  • We designed and implemented a SEO meta title and meta description experiment
  • We designed and implemented a merchant prospecting experiment, funneling prospects to our self-onboarding landing page
  • A discount marketing experiment was set up
  • We ramped up our SEO content production to 159 pieces
  • We A/B tested our abandoned cart email flow and found a winner
  • A new social media post template was created to send to our merchants for posting on their own channels
  • We created lo-fi social media content in a new format
  • In a big customer analysis, we dug deep into our customer behavior and spotted some interesting trends. We will be building on these insights in the coming months.


  • The Mr Winston POS integration was developed and released
  • We built a product instruction option
  • A review modal fix was implemented
  • A refund fix was implemented
  • Receipt features (QR on delivery and daily revenue print option) were released
  • The Bistroo Merchant landingpages v2 were finalized
  • A Merchant Portal toolbar was built
  • We worked on the extension of translates (both merchant portal and consumer app)
  • The account page was reworked
  • An Establishment close button hotfix was released
  • SEO content pages were prepped for SSR(total rework)
  • The asap feature was developed; allowing customers to pick-up their meal even faster
  • We worked on the localisation implementation
  • Attribute rework (spec and design)
  • A ton of sentry errors were fixed
